TranceAttack: You are established in the Trance scene for years. What is the reason that it took so long till you finished your first LP?
Heatbeat: We can say honestly that we are both, djs and producers. We don’t have any engineer or mastering help. So if you are on tour almost the whole year, its difficult to stay at the studio and make 15 tracks in a row.
We took 2 years to do this, and we are really happy with the results.

TranceAttack: I know that it is always difficult for a producer, but please tell us which one is your personal favorite from “Global Monster” and why?
Heatbeat: Agustin favorite would be ‘Secret’ feat Quilla. We get influences by roses never cry or chow mein , Quilla voice is stunning.. and the result is a really cool trance track , magical .
Matias favorite would be ‘BuenosAurus’ , more for the dancefloors, the idea is to kill your brain with the dark melody and the braineater bass we made. A trully saurus 🙂

TranceAttack: Is there an artist you would love to work together in the studio?
Agustin dream is a to make a track with Richard Ashcroft , Matias would be really happy to do a collab with Daft Punk guys.

TranceAttack: What are your plans next to your album release for the rest of 2014 and the future?
Heatbeat: WorldWide tour, showing the Album. Release a couple of singles with some really cool remixes. After that? Who knows! We arealdy have a lot work to do!

TranceAttack: Which side do you prefer? Behind the decks in the clubs or behind your equipment in the studio?
Heatbeat: Difficult Questions, it depends on the mood. I will say… both! Make a great track in the studio, and then show it to the people in the club.

TranceAttack: Is there one tune you play again and again in your sets – an all time favorite?
Heatbeat: Delerium – Silence . Best vocal ever, diferent mixes but we are still playing that beauty.

TranceAttack: What was the first record you ever bought? And what was your last?
Heatbeat: First record we bought was Paul van Dyk – For An Angel , we have the vinyl in our bedroom. The last would be some track on Beatport , i think Chris Schweizer – Daredevil.

TranceAttack: The technical evolution of deejay equipment is really impressive. What is your preferred equipment you spin with? Do you prefer CD’s or USB Stick?
Heatbeat: USB Stick all the way, tiny , great for tours. So far 100% Safe. You literally can carry all your music in your pocket. 🙂

TranceAttack: What is your opinion on the future of the EDM?
Heatbeat: Is a mistery, but an exciting one. Nobody knows what is going to happen , but hopefully trance will be still one of the top genres. With guys such as Armin or PVD leading it , or new names such as Andrew Rayel spreading the trance music all over the world.

TranceAttack: What would surprise our readers? Tell us something uncommon about you?
Heatbeat: We are big fans of games , Agustin is a Lineage2 player and fan of Pokemon. Matias loves Sonic, and he is the best at Mortal Kombats Games.

TranceAttack: Thank you for the interview and all the best for the future!
