We had the chance to talk with Jordan Suckley about his new mix-compilation, his label and his music! Enjoy reading! đ
TranceAttack: First of all, congrats for the release of your mix-compilation âDamaged Recordsâł, Jordan. What can the listener expect?
Jordan: Thanks very much! From my disc, you can expect Trance, tech Trance & Psy! With Mark, its Techno & tech Trance! A great mixture to compliment the package!
TranceAttack: You mixed the compilation together with Mark Sherry. How did you select your guest for the 2nd mix?
Jordan: Mark is a talented producer & we thought his sound would compliment as a contrast to my mix on the album!
TranceAttack: How did you work on this compilation? What approach did you take with the compiling and mixing?
Jordan: I just included some Damaged Records exclusives, made a track especially for it (âWho cares?â) and just wanted to put across the sound of the label!
TranceAttack: What differences do you see in comparison for the preparation for a liveset?
Jordan: For me, I see it as pretty similar.
TranceAttack: If you had to pick out three key tracks (other than your own productions) in your mix that best (if not completely personify) the album, which would they be?
Jordan: Royal Flush vs Freedom Fighters â Walter White, Daniel Skyver featuring Cat Martin â No One Else (Original Mix), Sam Jones â No Angel (Original Mix)
TranceAttack: You founded âDamaged Recordsâ in 2014? When you look back on your first year with your label, are you satisfied with the progress?
Jordan: Yeah 100%, we were 13th best selling Trance label in the world on Beatport for the first year! Insane!
TranceAttack: What are your plans for the rest of 2015 for your self and your label âDamaged Recordsâ?
Jordan: Lots of tours and of course lots of new music from my side are plannedâŚ
