Little over a year after his introduction to the Coldharbour family, it has been a continual story of embrace and adoration for the legend that is Jam El Mar. Playing a key role in Coldharbour Black’s introduction to the world through the Afterdark Volume One EP, we are delighted to release his interpretation of a true 90s rave classic – Viper’s “Titty Twister”.
Emanating originally on the Belgian Paradice label, Titty Twister would resonate hugely across the continental European scene, and even further when picked up by iconic UK imprint Hooj Choons a year later as “The Twister”. Long admired by Jam, what was originally a bootleg retouch for his own sets became hotly sought after by many, including Markus Schulz when watching him debut it to the world during a Coldharbour club night.
“Titty Twister” wowed new audiences throughout 2018, and reminded veteran followers of its special hypnotic nature. With Jam’s delicate retouch, it’s an anthem yielding as much infection some two decades after its birth; and providing a new imprint in Coldharbour Black a beautiful sprinkling of nostalgia.
