Released on Liquid Recordings in 2001, 4 Strings‘ “Into The Night” captures the melodic energy of early-2000s Dutch Trance. Driven by a powerful rhythm, atmospheric synth layers and an unforgettable lead melody, Carlo Resoort’s instrumental production became a club favourite and laid the musical foundation for the vocal hit “Take Me Away (Into The Night)”.
While the vocal version became the more commercially successful record, the instrumental original remains a defining example of the melodic, dancefloor-focused Trance that shaped the genre’s golden era.
More than two decades later, the original remains a striking example of Trance’s golden era, when a memorable melody and an emotional breakdown were enough to create a lasting dancefloor anthem.
