Back to 1996, when German rave and hard trance culture was running at full force — raw, hypnotic, uncompromising. Some tracks don’t just cover a classic — they transform it into a completely new emotional experience. Back in 2000, Aurora took Duran Duran’s timeless “Ordinary World” and turned it into one of those unforgettable vocal trance moments that still hits right in the heart today. Back to 1994, when The Prodigy turned rave energy into a full-on mainstream weapon. Mayday 1996. Da Hool behind the decks. A packed rave temple in full motion. And then this melody hits… Today, on the anniversary of Robert Miles’ passing, we remember one of the true visionaries of electronic music.
