After more than seven months as one of the most recognisable IDs in Aly & Fila’s sets, “Carry Me Away” finally lands on FSOE — and turns its long festival build-up into a powerful piece of emotional Vocal Uplifting Trance.
Some Trance releases need weeks to find their place on the dance floor. “Carry Me Away” arrives with that work already done. Aly & Fila, Roman Messer, Anton Pallmer and Susie Ledge have created a 140 BPM vocal anthem that has been tested in front of Trance crowds for months before finally receiving its official release on FSOE.
The track was already part of Aly & Fila’s Tranceformations set in Wroclaw on February 7 and returned later that month at A State Of Trance in Rotterdam. By its September 25 release date, “Carry Me Away” has spent more than seven months moving from festival ID to fully revealed single.

Susie Ledge gives it the emotional centre, the 140 BPM production provides the necessary lift, and the collaboration around her vocal keeps everything focused on melody rather than excess.
There is nothing radically experimental about the formula. But that is hardly the point. “Carry Me Away” takes one of Trance music’s most enduring formulas — a memorable vocal, an emotional breakdown and an uplifting peak — and executes it extremely well.
Seven months after first appearing as an ID, it feels less like the arrival of a new record than the official release of one audiences have already been waiting for.
