Factor B’s “Sea of Thoughts” emerged from his 2021 debut album Factor B Presents Theatre of the Mind before receiving a dedicated Extended Club Mix release through his Theatre of the Mind label later that year. Running at 133 BPM, the instrumental track sits between progressive and uplifting Trance, using a patient long-form arrangement, spacious melodic development and an emotional main-floor payoff rather than a vocal hook. Its strong contemporary reception was underlined when “Sea of Thoughts” finished at No. 5 in the A State of Trance Tune Of The Year 2021 listener vote.
