Ferry Corsten’s “Lonely Inside (Ferry Fix)” transforms one of the most atmospheric instrumental moments from his 2017 concept album Blueprint into a club-focused Trance record. Released through Flashover Recordings on December 29, 2017, the 132 BPM rework retains the original’s melancholic chord-led character while giving it the driving structure and uplifting payoff needed for Ferry’s DJ sets. Rather than replacing the album version, the Ferry Fix translates the same musical idea from reflective album listening to the dancefloor.
The original “Lonely Inside” functions as a spacious, reflective moment within the narrative flow of Blueprint. Ferry’s Fix keeps its melancholic chords and instrumental emotional core but builds a more dancefloor-oriented framework around them, adding stronger rhythmic drive, a clearer Trance build and a more euphoric melodic climax. The result connects the cinematic side of Blueprint with the sound Ferry could use directly in his live sets.
