Released on Difuse in 2003, FX Zone’s “Synthasia” found its defining form in the Nu NRG Remix. Andrea Ribeca and Giuseppe Ottaviani transformed the track into a fast, euphoric meeting point between early-2000s Hard Trance and melodic Uplifting Trance, pairing a driving rhythm section with soaring synth lines and a breakdown built for maximum emotional release. Played by Nu NRG themselves during the era and rediscovered repeatedly in later classic-Trance sets, “Synthasia” remains one of those less obvious records that captures the energy, melody and optimism of Trance’s early-2000s golden period.
