Gareth Emery feat. Christina Novelli’s “Concrete Angel” was released through Garuda Music on February 13, 2012, pairing Emery’s polished 130 BPM Trance production with a vocal originally written by Novelli, Dee Adam and Ben Collier. Its combination of emotionally direct songwriting, progressive Trance pacing and a large melodic payoff became one of the defining vocal records of its release year, culminating in “Concrete Angel” being voted A State of Trance Tune of the Year 2012.
