Released through Black Hole Recordings in 2003, Hampshire & Nysse feat. Nikita’s “Eternal Voices” captured a particularly atmospheric side of early-2000s Trance. On Airwave’s Revenge Mix, Belgian producer Laurent Véronnez stretches the track into a nine-minute Progressive Trance journey, balancing Nikita’s emotive vocal with a darker, more patient club arrangement. At 134 BPM, it sits between the melodic sweep of classic Trance and the deeper progressive sound that became one of Airwave’s signatures. The result remains a strong snapshot of an era when long-form arrangements, emotional vocals and gradual tension were allowed to develop across the full length of a 12-inch mix.
