Written and produced by Jens Ahrens and Peter Blase, the original release featured the Sysex Style and Spinclub mixes, pairing a relentless club drive with an instantly recognizable melodic hook and an emotional edge that helped it stand apart from the harder rave sound surrounding it. Its reach continued well beyond 1994: successive UK releases eventually took “Lost In Love” to No. 45 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 5 on the UK Dance Singles Chart, while Paul Oakenfold featured the track on his influential Perfecto Fluoro compilation.
