Released in 1995 on No Respect Records, Mega ’Lo Mania’s “Emotion” captures the high-energy edge of Germany’s mid-90s Hard Trance movement. Created by Nils Ruzicka and Ramon Zenker, the track combines a relentless rave-driven foundation with an instantly recognisable melodic theme – a balance of power and euphoria that defined much of the era’s harder Trance sound. Its story did not end in the 90s: “Emotion” returned in 2002 with new remixes from Plenty Blue and Duderstadt and has continued to surface on Trance-classics compilations, underlining its lasting place in the genre’s old-school catalogue.
