The release also sits naturally within the current Enhanced universe: Farius and Nitrous Oxide recently stood side by side as the mixers of “Digitally Enhanced Volume Nine”, with the label describing the series as returning for its ninth edition under their guidance.
Musically, “Eterna” is pure Progressive Trance craft at 130 bpm: warm low-end movement, clean percussion, elegant melodic phrasing and a breakdown that leans into emotion without ever becoming overly sentimental. Nitrous Oxide, the alias of Polish producer Krzysztof Pretkiewicz, has long been a respected name in the European trance scene. Insomniac describes him as one of the leading figures of the Polish and European trance scene and notes his historic connection with Anjunabeats as the label’s first Polish DJ. His sound has always carried a strong melodic core, often balancing drive and emotion with a very recognizable trance identity.
Farius, meanwhile, has become one of the defining modern faces of the Progressive Trance sound. The London-born DJ, producer and broadcaster has released on labels including Anjunabeats, Armada, Enhanced and Future Sound of Egypt, and has performed with brands such as Ministry of Sound, A State Of Trance and Insomniac. Insomniac also highlights his role as host of Enhanced Sessions, a weekly radio show broadcast internationally across more than 60 stations.
That shared Enhanced DNA is exactly what makes “Eterna” work. Nitrous Oxide brings the melodic trance instinct; Farius adds that sleek, contemporary progressive architecture. The production never tries to overpower the listener. Instead, it builds patiently, layering atmosphere, rhythm and melody into a track that feels uplifting in a subtle, mature way. The title “Eterna” fits perfectly: this is not a disposable peak-time weapon, but a track designed to linger.
