Released in 2003 on Paul van Dyk’s VANDIT Records, “Connective” captures the unmistakable energy of Italian Trance duo Nu NRG, formed by Giuseppe Ottaviani and Andrea Ribeca. With its driving rhythm, soaring melodies and powerful emotional progression, the track bridges classic Uplifting Trance and the harder-edged club sound of the early 2000s. Originally issued on the Connective EP alongside “Le Mirage” and “The Mind”, it later featured on the duo’s 2004 debut album Freefall. More than two decades later, “Connective” remains a compelling example of the melodic intensity that defined golden-era Trance.
