RAM and Frankyeffe join forces on “Raver’s Delight”, a fast, rave-driven Trance cut that trades sweeping uplift for speed, pressure and peak-time club energy. Released via Black Hole Recordings on September 11, 2026, the 145 BPM collaboration sits on the harder edge of modern Main Floor Trance while bringing together two distinctly different musical backgrounds.

RAM and Frankyeffe turn up the pressure

At 145 BPM, “Raver’s Delight” makes its intentions clear from the outset. This is not a slow-burning journey or a vocal-led emotional anthem. Its focus is the dance floor, with a faster and more physical character that reflects the renewed connection between contemporary Trance and rave culture.

That makes the collaboration particularly interesting from RAM’s perspective. The Dutch producer has spent decades building a reputation around powerful, emotional Trance, but “Raver’s Delight” explores a tougher side of his sound. Rather than leaning heavily into the melodic uplift traditionally associated with his name, the record puts momentum and intensity first.

Frankyeffe provides a natural counterpart. His recent output has increasingly occupied the harder intersection between Trance, techno and rave, including high-speed releases and collaborations that regularly push beyond the traditional 138 BPM Trance framework. “Raver’s Delight” therefore feels less like either artist stepping into unfamiliar territory and more like their respective strengths meeting in the middle.

Rave energy without abandoning its Trance identity

The key to “Raver’s Delight” is that its harder direction does not completely erase its Trance foundation.

The pace and club-first attitude move it toward the rawer end of the spectrum, but the record remains designed around the forward motion and release associated with peak-time Trance. Even Beatport’s classification reflects that crossover: the release appears primarily within Main Floor Trance while also being associated with the Raw / Deep / Hypnotic side of the genre in its catalogue listings.

That ambiguity actually suits the track. “Raver’s Delight” does not need a narrowly defined subgenre to make sense. It belongs to the increasingly fluid space where fast Trance, rave and harder club music meet — while still retaining enough of a Trance identity to sit naturally inside a high-energy Trance set.

A collaboration built for the peak-time floor

There is also a refreshing directness to the concept.

Instead of trying to combine every recognizable characteristic of both producers, RAM and Frankyeffe concentrate on one shared purpose: energy. At 145 BPM, the record has little interest in drifting. The appeal comes from movement, tension and the expectation of a packed room responding collectively rather than from an elaborate emotional narrative.

The Extended Mix reinforces that approach. Running just under five minutes, it is compact by traditional Trance standards but practical for modern DJ sets, keeping the track focused without allowing its central idea to lose momentum.

TranceAttack verdict

“Raver’s Delight” succeeds because it knows exactly what it wants to be.

RAM and Frankyeffe are not chasing a huge vocal hook or an oversized emotional breakdown. Instead, they deliver a focused peak-time record built around pace, pressure and rave-floor impact. Frankyeffe’s harder instincts give the collaboration its edge, while RAM’s Trance background prevents it from becoming just another anonymous high-BPM club tool.

It may not offer the melodic depth listeners associate with RAM’s most emotional productions, but that is hardly the objective here. “Raver’s Delight” is designed for a different moment — later in the night, higher in energy and with considerably less interest in restraint.
