Robbie Rivera and H4lo’s “Still We Run” enters Main-Floor Trance territory with a new remix by Johan Gielen under his legendary Airscape project. Released on October 9, 2026, via Juicy Music, the 134 BPM reinterpretation gives the original September release a distinct Trance identity, bringing together Rivera’s club-music background and Gielen’s long-standing connection to the genre.
From Big Room to Main-Floor Trance
Originally released on September 11, “Still We Run” belonged to Robbie Rivera’s mainstage-oriented catalogue. Its initial 130 BPM version and accompanying dub mixes explored the track within a Big Room framework.
Johan Gielen’s Airscape remix takes a different direction.
At 134 BPM, the new version moves into contemporary Main-Floor Trance while retaining the original’s E minor key. Rather than presenting a completely new composition, the remix repositions an existing track for a different musical audience.
The release includes both a concise 3:11 radio edit and a 5:19 extended mix, offering two versions for streaming and DJ use.
Johan Gielen Brings Airscape Into the Picture
The Airscape name carries considerable weight in Trance history.
Associated with the genre’s formative late-1990s and early-2000s period, Airscape established a reputation through original productions and remixes that helped define the European Trance sound.
Today, Johan Gielen continues to develop that identity through contemporary releases.
His involvement makes “Still We Run” particularly interesting. Robbie Rivera is primarily associated with house and club-focused electronic music, while Airscape represents a different part of dance music’s history.
Bringing those backgrounds together on Rivera’s own Juicy Music label gives the remix an identity beyond a conventional genre-specific release.
A Crossover Between Two Dance Music Worlds
There is a noteworthy contrast at the heart of this project.
The original emerged from a mainstage-oriented production environment, while its Airscape interpretation is positioned squarely within Main-Floor Trance.
That crossover also reflects the increasingly fluid boundaries between contemporary club music and Trance. Producers are finding new ways to revisit existing material and introduce it to audiences with different expectations.
The remix attracted early radio support, appearing on Bobina’s Russia Goes Clubbing 938 and Blasterjaxx’s Maxximize On Air 643 shortly after release.
TranceAttack Verdict
The Airscape Remix of “Still We Run” is an intriguing meeting of Robbie Rivera’s club-oriented production world and Johan Gielen’s Airscape legacy.
The release stands out for its crossover concept: a Big Room original finding a new place within contemporary Trance, without abandoning its original identity.
Whether the finished remix achieves the emotional impact and musical distinction expected of an Airscape production ultimately depends on its melodic development, arrangement and overall execution.
