Signum brings his unmistakable old-school Dutch Trance sound back into focus with “Love Forever”, a driving 138 BPM release on his own Xposed Records imprint. Originally released on vinyl in April 2024, the track arrives in digital form in October 2026, combining the rhythmic energy and nostalgic character that have defined Signum’s productions for decades.
The unmistakable sound of Signum
Few names are as closely associated with the golden era of Dutch Trance as Signum. With classics such as “What Ya Got 4 Me”, “Coming On Strong” and “Push Through”, the project established a sound built around powerful club energy, memorable musical ideas and an unmistakable sense of movement.
“Love Forever” continues that tradition. Rather than chasing contemporary production trends, Ron Hagen draws inspiration from the musical identity that helped make Signum such a respected name within the Trance scene.
The result is a release with a clear purpose: reconnecting the energy of classic Trance with today’s dance floors.
A return to the old-school Signum spirit
The story behind “Love Forever” makes the track particularly appealing.
Originally appearing alongside “Hommage” on the limited Xposed 003 vinyl release in April 2024, the production was conceived as a follow-up to “Flashback”. Hagen specifically described its character in terms of the bouncy, old-school Signum sound that longtime fans have come to appreciate.
At 138 BPM, “Love Forever” belongs firmly in Main-Floor Trance territory, with a classic-inspired approach that places rhythmic momentum and musical identity at the centre of the experience.
The 6:51 Extended Mix also provides a DJ-oriented alternative to the shorter original version, giving the release a natural place in traditional Trance sets.
From vinyl exclusivity to digital availability
The connection to Xposed Records adds another interesting dimension.
Launched as Signum’s own label, Xposed has given Ron Hagen a platform to explore different aspects of his musical heritage. “Love Forever” formed part of a planned trilogy of limited vinyl releases, bringing together six productions representing different flavours of Trance.
Its digital release in October 2026 opens that chapter to a wider audience.
For longtime followers, the track represents a continuation of the Signum sound. For newer listeners, it offers an opportunity to discover the distinctive club energy associated with one of Dutch Trance’s enduring names.
TranceAttack verdict
“Love Forever” is a welcome reminder of what makes Signum such an important name in Trance music.
Its appeal lies in the commitment to an established musical identity. The connection to “Flashback”, the original vinyl release and the return through Xposed Records create a compelling narrative that extends well beyond another routine digital single.
In an increasingly diverse Trance landscape, there is still considerable value in artists who remain connected to the sound that shaped the genre.
An energetic celebration of Signum’s musical heritage and a rewarding release for fans of classic Dutch Trance.
