The results of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2020 voting are here and as we did it the last years, we take a deeper look at the Trance Artists who made it into the op 100 DJs 2020 ranking! Looking at all these discussions about genres, popularity and artists we don’t want to participate in, we only want to honor the artists who represent the Trance genre in this poll!
After 6 Trance Artists in 2019, the decreasing trend of Trance in the Top 100 DJs is slightly stopped seeing 7 Trance artists in the Top 100 DJs 2020. Artists like Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Cosmic Gate, and Markus Schulz are again not listed in the Top 100 DJs.
With Armin van Buuren (4), Above & Beyond (19), Vini Vici (24) and Paul van Dyk (50) 4 Trance acts made it in the Top 50 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2020!
Armin kept his 4th place and stays in the Top 5 now for the ninth year in a row. Congratulations Armin! Jono, Paavo & Tony made it back into the Top 20 (after 22 in 2019)! Vini Vici climbed again – this year to 24 (after 31 in 2019)! Paul van Dyk completes the Top 50 (after 87 in 2019)! Congrats to all!
Ferry Corsten made it near to the Top 50 (up to 53 after 59 in 2019) together with ATB (down to 56 after 39 in 2019). Blastoyz completes the list of Trance Artists in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2020 as a new entry on 97!
We congratulate all trance artists for their reached places in the ranking and their achievement to represent Trance in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2020!
