Andrew Bayer – Voltage Control

Here comes the next strike from Andrew Bayer’s outstanding “Parallels EP”… this is “Voltage Control”!
 
Andrew explains: “Voltage Control was a fun track to work on. Like many of my tracks, it went through a ton of different versions. The actual session name was “club horns” for the longest time, as it originally started as a brass section breakdown… changed a little bit from that I’d say. 😉
 
While the confusing title of “Once Lydian” does actually make sense knowing the track was in fact once in the Lydian mode, it didn’t feel appropriate to call Voltage Control “Once Horny” lmao Replacing the horns for vintage analog synths and using a ton of outboard gear throughout the track, it felt only fitting to call it “Voltage Control”.
