Lostly did a tremendous job compiling and mixing Disc 3 of the just-released Pure Trance 7 compilation, creating a mean yet melodic journey packed with his own Originals, Remixes and Collaborations. Here are two of those Original productions in a full-length club-friendly format. Although cut from the same cloth sonically i.e. in Andre’s inimitable style, they are very different tracks. Distant Shore is all about the on-beat melody, sustained drone-like pads, fluttering acidic sequences and an orgasmic high-string payoff. On the flip of this double A-side (let’s pretend it’s a vinyl record for a moment) Reflection is a darker, meaner piece of driving, filtered trance music, perfect for those long all-nighters when it doesn’t matter how late it gets – you are never going home!
