South Africa’s Andre Frauenstein has been undergoing something of a musical transmogrification, formerly known for his pounding productions, the man known as Lostly has made a very definite shift towards a new sound. Inspired by his renowned live shows featuring live 303 tweaking, this new incarnation focuses on a spacious, 303 driven progressive approach. With the “less is more” mentality “We’re Descending” is a fine example of where Lostly is now heading. One of the most commented on tracks from Solarstone’s trending ‘Electronic Architecture 4’ mix & melodically understated, it transcends genre-specific borders, being mentioned by DJs across the progressive and techno spectrums.
