Two of the most influential and iconic artists in trance came together in the most unusual circumstances – a forced, police guarded two-week quarantine that was mandatory for anyone and everyone arriving into Australia – which both Simon and Will were doing ahead of this year’s Paradigm tour. Luckily, as they arrived on the same flight, they were allowed to quarantine in the same rooms – and as such productivity and idea-sharing blossom. Their room was high up in a hotel block and the tall glass windows that surrounded them ova them an unbelievable view across Sydney – but also the best seats in the house to watch the remarkable sunsets that would happen each day during what became affectionally known as Golden Hour. Here is the track that Simon Patterson and Will Atkinson made – inspired by those sunsets and those two weeks of being cut off from the world with nothing to do except create.
